Road Home Program at Rush

Center for Veterans & Their Families

The Road Home Program at Rush University Medical Center is a National Center of Excellence dedicated to the mental health and wellness of veterans, service members, National Guard members, reservists, and their families. They provide life-changing care — including intensive outpatient programs, individual and group therapy, and family support — at no cost and regardless of discharge status.

Honoring the Forgotten Families

The Red Star Foundation is a nationwide organization dedicated to honoring and supporting the families and loved ones of current military members, veterans, and first responders who have tragically lost a loved one to suicide. Beyond survivor support, the Foundation works to prevent suicide through education, advocacy, community outreach, and partnerships that promote mental health awareness and early intervention.
